Story Element to Step Outline

Story Elements

1) Character: Zander is an intelligent hacker, skilled at theoretical math formulas. He is convinced that computer programs can resolve any problem.

2) Setting: This film will take place in "Zander's" house, in his bedroom, as well as in school. To connect with the viewers, this film will be set in a relatively current timeframe.

3) Backstory: Zander has had a quiet life, yet fueled by achievement. His parents are scientists and teachers and have instilled within him the necessity for global peace and a healthy environment. Zander wants to succeed in aiding the world as much as his parents have during their life.

4) Goal: Zander wishes to use his knowledge in computers to create a program that can revolutionize the conciliatory methods used in democracy to achieve a worldly understanding of peace.

5) Time: This will be portrayed as the understanding that by looking at history, the patterns that repeat themselves can be analyzed and altered in plans for a better future.

6) Relationship: The program Zander creates will at first be his friend and share his opinions in world conflicts, but the relationship will begin to deteriorate as Zander refers to the program as a tool, than a friend.

7) Obstacle: Multiple obstacle will present themselves to Zander as the movie progresses, such as the creation of the program, as well as spreading acceptance of the intelligence of computer programs.

8) Mood: The frame of mind of this film will include a lot of suspense, while maintaining the pressure or stress low for the audience.

9) Unknown: Zander will have no knowledge if the computer program will function, yet when it does, he realizes he had not planned for it to work.

10) Discovery: The acceptance of new or alien individuals in a society of humans is difficult. The formula that counteracts the natural flow of history in the program cannot aid humans to understand, as this had never occurred in human history.
